PLAY SYNOPSIS
The play centers on the love story of Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a physicist. Both meet unexpectedly at a barbeque and the two eventually start to fall in love and decide to pursue a relationship. Opening the doors of many choices, decisions, and life events that start or end in this relationship. Each new step they take unravels a new path of outcomes into the multiverse. Thus, giving insight to the audience of what could or could not be in their relationship. Illustrating how one decision can make a multitude of possibilities and lifetimes, in our vast universe. Will their choices make their love stronger or separate them into different paths?
MOODBOARD & CONCEPT
Both characters' wardrobe were added small elements of designs that indicated the occupation of the characters. Such as, honeycomb patterns on the shirts as well as a use of jewelry adornment and accessories to complete the look. Also, as a way of symbolism of the characters' emotions and livelihoods. The play is primarily costumed with modern-contemporary clothing. To add the aspect of realism and emotion, using specific color palettes, to reflect the atmosphere of each scene.
